From Porto, take the A3 highway (dir. Valença) and get off in Ponte de Lima (Exit 11 - Ponte de Lima/Gemieira). Alternatively, take the A28 highway to Viana do Castelo and then the A27 untill Ponte de Lima.

From Lisbon or Coimbra, take the A1 highway (dir. Norte) to Porto, then follow the instructions above.

Express coaches leave regularly from Lisbon and Porto to Viana do Castelo and Ponte de Lima, with various urban routes connecting the he cities above.
